funQi has come a long way since its inception almost five years ago: ”I was always frustrated by the fact that it was difficult to find unique yet affordable fashion accessories to match my ever expanding wardrobe. One Sunday afternoon I decided to start designing my own jewellery…and funQi was born” says owner Liz Terziovski.
“A lot of people ask me about the name, and what it - represents, and the best way to describe it is that its not just about looking funky, its about feeling unique, feminine, and stylish…feeling “funQi”

Liz’s unique designs quickly caught the attention of family and friends…”people started asking me to make pieces for them, and before I knew it, I was being approached by boutique owners asking to stock my designs.”
Liz travelled extensively in her search for inspiration and the unique materials she incorporates into her collections, including Europe, the Caribbean, India and China. It was during these travels that she realised there was more to accessorising an outfit than just fashion jewellery, and funQi took a new direction.

funQi’s first boutique opened its doors in March 2007 at High Street, Preston and quickly gained a popular - following. The funQi range grew to not only include Liz’s jewellery pieces, but a range of unique leather handbags, wallets, belts, gloves and scarves, hand-picked by Liz during her travels. Incorporating the finest materials including Swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones, sterling silver and genuine Italian leather, the result is an exquisite mix of fashion accessories that are exclusive to the funQi label.

What started out as an accessories store quickly evolved into a fashion boutique: “The driving force behind funQi was not a desire to make jewellery, but to accessorise the latest fashions, so it was only a matter of time before I started looking to showcase some of the amazing Australian labels out there to compliment my range of accessories.”
Liz’s eye for fashion and industry knowledge means funQi has secured some of the hottest new labels and fashion trends, but funQi also remains dedicated to meeting the needs of its clientele: “We really listen to what our customers want, and this is reflected in our ever evolving range.”
